This sweet little pendant lock is a replica of one I brought back from Scotland many years ago. It is a lock that someone patiently designed out of a 3 pence British coin. In Scotland we called these coins “thruppennys”. They are considered lucky coins. Like all my charms, this one is made of jewelry-grade pewter and it is a weighty charm.
