This listing is for a pair of Greek Ephesus Ionia Bee Coin (reproductions). These coins were originally used as currency around 200BC. They are lightweight enough to be used in earring designs or would also work as a pendant.

All my items are handmade by me in my workshop. I use the highest quality lead-free, nickel-free jewelry grade pewter. I finish the coins with a blackened antique finish. Since all items are handmade, there might be slight variations in each piece.

Size: 3/4" in diameter.

Weight: 3.5 gr.
Pewter has a wonderful "soft" finish. It is almost indistinguishable from sterling, but easier to drill if you wanted to alter or enhance design.
